I don't wish to bring the levity down. But there seems to be more of us signing this petition than the other one. If we're not careful we could help its cause. Retarted as it is.

Surely these petitions are just ignored by the government anyway so what's the problemkinmad4it wrote:I don't wish to bring the levity down. But there seems to be more of us signing this petition than the other one. If we're not careful we could help its cause. Retarted as it is.

All these petitions are pointless, rem this one.
1 million plus of us wanted to scrap road tax plans.
And the ones Posties and customers putting on are just as pointless.
But some of 'em are fun

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I'm not sure, but by adding your 'name' are you not adding to the list and therefore supporting the petitioner??? Oh feck it anyway I suppose it doesn't really matter, (and maybe the petitioner should have taken this into account) because everyone here knows that the Government refuses to get involved in this dispute!!!

Another thing, call me PARANOID, but if you sign the No 10 Downing st petitions do you not have to leave your real name & address? All the better for the SECRET POLICE to keep track of you. What does No10 do with all the personal information it collects? Very easy to compile databases of disaffected people against certain things. If the info gets into the wrong hands, i.e. Royal Mail, people could be targeted at work if they have signed petitions against RM. You just have to look at how government departments are trying to get data collected being able to be shared amongst departments. The next step will be to SELL the info to interested parties.
