Re: lets catch up.
When your job in the MC has disappeared are you going to come over to deliveries? or would that be too much like hard work

You could be closer to the truth than you think, it is my estimation that Warrington RDC and Warrington MC could be closed down and merged into a super centre possibly Leeds area, in the next 5-6 years Warrington MC as it is is already too small, its simply chaos in there, not enough bay doors, drivers queuing to take their turn in the bay if they didn't get there early enough, a big massive tent is being set in the back as there isn't enough room in the MC, canteen is too small, expensive and open at certain times usually 3 hours at a time.

My heart goes out to those in MC's affected by the changes,i personally don't know how i would be if my job was on the line, where i could or could not be working, what extra travelling time i would have to have, ect ect ect...youwot!!!!! wrote:i'm sick of hearing delivery staff moan about their jobs on this site so i thought could we catch them up a bit?personally i doubt it as delivery staff are world class whingers.
Now i've cleared that up with my personal views, another one is you've done yourself no favours with your post.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I have to say that if given a choice between MC and Delivery work I would choose delivery all the time.
No way could I face seeing the same faces day in day out for 6 to 8 or the same 4 walls. Loud machines clattering away and doing the same endless booring task hour in hour out, day on day, week on week, etc.
Much rather be out in all weathers, working with a great bunch of colleagues and the nosiest thing being the managers fart.

Before you criticise someone you should walk a mile in their shoes...............that way you'll be a mile away and have their shoeshubbahubba wrote:Would YOU do i walk??Be f**ked if i would,so maybe they got something to moan about?Walk a mile in my shoes,or something along them lines......youwot!!!!! wrote:i'm sick of hearing delivery staff moan about their jobs on this site so i thought could we catch them up a bit?personally i doubt it as delivery staff are world class whingers.

just to clarify,i have done deliveries(walks and driving) and worked in the mail centre and also on distribution driving 7.5 tonners aswell as collections(never been a manager though before the usual accusations are posted),so having done most jobs in this place i consider myself experienced enough to comment on these issues so here goes.
we all know that there is plenty to moan about in royal fail and we can all have a good moan when thing get on our nerves but in MY experience delivery postmen/women whinge the most.check out the posts on this site complaining about anything and everything and a large majority are from whining delivery staff.
p.s. how many delivery staff have never done any other job in royal fail but think they are experienced enough to offer up comments on other fuctions when they have never even worked in said functions.

Re: lets catch up.
It's well documented on the site the state of play with some of our colleagues youwot.
Are we all the same on here as them then?
I know of some serious w*****s at my local MC,does that mean......

It's only because we have evolved and can string words together mate

The time has come for union.
