The DOM has a proposal and Im going to ask the mbrs to instruct me via a democratic ballot if my response to the DOM is to be yes or a no.
Okay, i take you at your word that it's diffrent, sorry to insult you.
If this is your DOM's plan and it's better for the members why did he hold it back?

Especially if this figure was based on less than honest factors like coming in early and skipping meal relief.
It stands to reason if everybody has been artificially boosting the EP of an office by coming in early, using their own cars etc and then suddenly they stop doing it.......the wheels will fall off.
Our EP ranges from 55 to 85 depending on the traffic.
I think we're in the bottom third some where
Bottom third, thats a long hard slog up to the top 10%.
Are you guys up for the challenge. Come on we're all in this togeather. :chuckle

Im not certain it is better for the mbrs however thats their choice to make and not mine. As a mbr with a vote Im not sure I will vote yes again this time around.

Plan A was very much a CWU plan in terms of attendance patterns as I did the revision almost solo, last two revisions planner or manager was fully involved.

Plan B is a proposal for a almost 50/50 split on fixed weekday off duties and rotating day off duties.

No full scale replotting of delivery walks in this proposal

A few other changes as well but the above is the nitty gritty of it.

keep asking manager to actually come on one of the walks and he has refused so far. says it all really that they are scared they will be shown to be wrong.

Yep same all over i'm afraid, our planner can't even be hounest about the performance parameters. He's explained ;liar a couple of times now how the walk speeds arn't really the walk speeds. As well as refusing point blank to test the walks, nothing like a tacit addmission that they can't be done in the time allocated!

In truth the members are right, there is no point of a revision that doesn't use the georoute delivery methods.

Ok,what's a section?
At my place we don't have these.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
