Re: pedometer mileage park and loop
Being a convey driver sometimes the mobile does come in handy, but as all those duties will be gone by the time I return to work I won't have to worry about the phone anymore. I've never used my car for work, well only to get there and get home
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
Illegitimi non carborundum

If we abandoned all non RM equipment that makes life easier (for easier read cheaper
) such as phones, watches, what would happen? I was thinking, if you have, say, 10 signed for items and no one is in, and you have no way of knowing the time, are you allowed time to walk around trying to find the time before you can post your P739 to let the customer know?

You would think so, but what about the anally retentive ones that will come back with "well I was inhabiting my abode until 9:37 and 53 seconds so there is no way the post man called at 9:37 as he claims" or words to that effect.Lateagainpostie wrote:Guess, surprising how accurate you get with practicerealitybites wrote:If we abandoned all non RM equipment that makes life easier (for easier read cheaper) such as phones, watches, what would happen? Re: pedometer mileage park and loop
I use Sportypal when i'm out cycling http://www.sportypal.com/Download" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, it can be installed on quite a few different phones, theres a list of compatible phones somewhere on the website, shepherdess wrote:get run tracker on you i phone or android phone for free it tracks your route and speed by gps
it's a pretty good app, quite accurate,
gives all the information required, speed, average speed, distance covered, total time etc,
i've never used it on a walk, but one of my colleagues has, it's pretty cool being able to look at a pc screen and see the route that someone has taken and to see how they have performed,
but i don't think RM will ever use the results from such a thing, it's far harder to "massage" the results of a gps based piece of software than it is with Pegasus.
