How big is the office?

we are only a small office of 37 but we are a awkward set of b******s :Very Happy
You will need the support of the higher union echelons though - if they say there is no case, whether there is or isn't, you'll be out on a limb and they will agree to let the revision go in by EA.
im getting prepared for the meeting fill like a sodden solicitor been looking at agreements galore think i got a good case just need to get backing of divisional union rep if he signs off over my head he will be makeing a nonsence of the whole agreement as i have facts galore

Good test case then pmn8 - keep us posted on the developments - perhaps you will find out where the loyalties of the CWU full time reps lay with the membership or not.

Postman should be sending him honorary whatnots.
I couldn't agree more :Applause for the solidarity shown.
He don't need whatnots! any chance he could send me some of his thingymajigs though.

If your office has this brought in by E/A and its agreed with the DIV/AREA rep will you lads accept it or will you stand on the gate.

Little scenario here for you Revision brought in by E/A out on the gate for 4 days cost to R/M £165 grand 3 months of trying to cope with there ill plotted revision .

Result uturn by R/M and a revision the office will accept its rather simple.

But it gets you thinking how many offices will just accept these revisions on the say so of the DIV/AREA rep.

This is were you see if your offices has balls or not but good luck mate and keep us posted.

Got a revision supposed to be starting monday but been put off again for another week. Area been split into two, 3 offices going in next week 8 in the new year.Planner just cant seem to grasp that you cannot get 5 D2D items 15 small letters and 8 flats into one space on the RM2000 been told to double up every hole on the frame. :arrrghhh .Been given less than two weeks to do a resign of 95 staff when 6 of the top ten were on annual leave. Was told that a resign should be done in 2 days when i told him that under paragraph 16.4 of the way forward a resign should take no longer than a month, he huffed and puffed and walked out telling me to email it to him. :dance Think next week could be quite intresting

we had a revision meeting this week and voted it out, dim has gone on a 3 week cruise and left lino to sort it out, a few of us wanted to have input on it before but was snubbed so this time we are leaving it them again,

Our DO is collapsing under the weight of packects and they wanted to cut a driving duty out :arrrghhh and lino was out in a van delivering bring on revision lol

Well Done Postman8 and crew :Applause Meant to start our new duties 1st Nov! Due to usual probs it's now been put back until mid Nov. DIMs coming the Manuels: Everytime you ask him something he say's, "I know nothing!". :hmmmm

Disappears to a meeting and then produces half a dozen new ideas he wants implemented. He literally hasn't told ANYONE- ANYTHING no-one has a clue what duties they're going to be signing for, or if indeed what these duties are! :arrrghhh

And it's all going to be sorted in the next 10 days? I don't think so. ;liar

My Office is intending to implement it in January, from all these stories coming out about failed revisions, surely it must be time to stop and say "look its not working scrap it and go back the way it was before"

It takes a lot of courage to admit you are wrong, if this goes Nationwide, there is only so many linos and spare staff to go around, it would mean a total collapse of postal service and chaos in the UK with questions asked in parliament, this madness must stop, there no more meat left on the bone, we have cut too far and too deep.

If its working well, don't try to fix it !

Yes and when it all goes tits up, the answers in parliament, will be theres no reason these plans should not work ,the computer says it can be done and it's just those militant postman who refuse to modernise, and another reason to rush ahead with privatisation. We know tis is all bull but will they listen to us.
