Postman Plodd wrote:Lapsed, bundled and bagged up walk, bundled and bagged up another half a walk. No keys for 1 walk, got that sorted eventually, got a lift and dropped bags off, 1st letter after 11. Long walk not too heavy, rattled off half walk afterwards, finished 4:30.
I can't understand how with these crappy changes and all the cock ups, why anyone allows themselves to be made to 'absorb' any extra work.
s**t day to day. Last van finally 'found' our office at 09:40 and most of us were out by 10:30, but as many walks are in excess of 4 hrs, mine included,, didn't finish until around 3pm. Very wet & pissed off. Add to that had to wait for 4 drop bags because DOM asked driver to wait and take 2 PT's out to their walks before hand. :evil/mad  :mad

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I have a fox come into my garden every morning, I'm sure he's eyeing up my chickens :nervous He don't even run away when I go out there.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

When I'm on early shift I see at least 5-6 on my way to the bus stop which is only about 500 yards away.
And I live near central London.

buy some Lion pellets (poo) and put it in the garden, that will keep the foxes away.
