I am still here after all this time, got my casual contract renewed until the start of January. Called me up for work the moment my two week breakoff period had ended, hah. Need the money I suppose, shame the rate doesn't go up during Christmas at all.
Don't think I'll be doing too many 12 hour shifts though, did 6-6 Monday and Tuesday and it drains the life out of you.

Hey ho, need a bit of help!
Just realised today that since having my casual contract renewed that I didn't send in my P45 an have been on a BR tax code when i should be on 0647L.
I've sent the P45 today but just wondering what will happen with the tax I've been deducted so far? Will they just pay that back when my next payslip comes through next week or will I have to wait until the end of the tax year? In other jobs I've got it back instantly and in some I've waited so just thought I'd ask of other peoples experiences!
I've tried ringing this morning and couldn't get though due to it being payslip day, pah.
Worked a morning yesterday which was a nice change.

You have to contact your tax office and explain the situation to them,that is what my son had to do when he was on emergency tax,they sort it out.
