Few days ago, when I wanted to follow my mail on the websiteof Royail mail, it was written that the mail was in france and french postal service have it.
And now I see this message :

Re: [ ROYAIL MAIL to FRANCE.. I Need HELP ]
If it was posted here on Wednesday it would still be in England at 10pm.
It would be collected from where it was posted and sent to the nearest mail centre for processing then from there to Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre, probably at some time after 10pm on the 27th. Unfortunately I do not know the procedures at Heathrow ( or how the French postal service operates) but I wouldn't be worrying just yet. The (Royal Mail's) aim for Western European delivery is 3 working days so I'd wait a bit longer.
Hope this helps you. Bon chance!

Merci Beaucoup,
Thanks for the reply.
I will wait just a little bit longer.
I'm sorry I have registered here because I read in lot of french forums that a lot of people who bought from the web ( UK website ) have not got their mail.
So I was worried after reading that. But now, I'm going to wait still 3 days.
I hope my mail will not be lost.

It could also be delayed by the strikes in France.

I work at HWDC(Heathrow Worldwild Distribution Center). If your item has a track number that means it as been sent has international sign for (=paquet recommande international) or Airsure(=post expres europe).Only the Airsure mail can be traced after leaving UK.
In both case this kind of mail is processed in priority and will leave HWDC the same day, assuming that your item arrived to be processed before 3am. International mail is only processed between 22h00 and 06h00. The mail for France is only despatched by road service and the last lorry leave HWDC around 3h00 to be able to catch the shuttle on time. Then it depends what is the strike situation in France....(I'm French as well and I know that when the public sector is on strike, La Poste is allways in the lead...) and where you leave in France....

They've been on strike so I would imagine a large backlog with loads of OT available.
The time has come to stop turning the other cheek, time to stop shaking our heads in bitter dismay, time to stop mumbling our angry words.
The time has come for union.
