DM Revision due on 4th November here only they are introducing it in one postcode area out of 5.

How does this stand on the £200 lump sum?

Do the staff who are doing the revision deliveries get it or do they have to wait for the whole office to move onto the revision?

How does this affect a resign? How do they decide who does these new duties? They claim a resign can be done in 3 days, but last time it took over 3 weeks.

Nothing has been said from management other than it happening on 4th November even though we dont have a rep to sign it off. Area rep doesnt have any knowledge of the office so it would be pointless him signing it off.

Everyone knows its not going to work. Even management are laughing at the new duties.

At least there will be loads of docket to mop up due to the masses of cut off that there will be.

Same as our office. Gonna be loads of cutoffs. I thought these new changes was supposed to be done on a fair achievable workload and not done on accountants/budget.Mind you i'll believe anything

Dingo why on earth would they be scare stories do you honestly believe that the 1300 still waiting to implement this sold down the river agreement are going to be any different than the 156 who have implemented it I dont think so do you.

Jesus man if you sit in H/Q and H/Q have the same thinking as you god help us all pull your head out the sand .

Sadly Dingo the union have lost the plot on this one.

When the revision comes into affect in my D/O April 2011 and the walks are unachievable which they will be and i report the facts on this site H/Q will just
see them scare stories.

Well at a guess MB i would suggest that it is very unlikely that what is reported from the offices will make it all the way to HQ.
No-one likes to hear bad news and certainly no-one wants to be the bearer of bad news.
Don't shoot the messenger springs to mind although i prefer "Don't shoot the piano player; he'll play any tune you want".

Loads of docket . I think you have the wrong idea, cut off and let the problem be truly seen, if you clear on the docket then managers will be quite happy!

Does it matter if he is a manager? I dont remember reading anything on here that says managers are excluded from the site,No im not a manager btw.

Actually Fish its a bit worse than what you suggest. The Area Rep, Div Rep and above all have a motivation for being more than an ordinary rep and they also have a direct connection with the agreement and its implementation. If they wish to progress further within the Union or Labour movement then will they want to be associated with something that fails or if they honestly believe something is wrong in the implementation would they really stick their heads above the parapet on something that the CWU has heavily invested in.

Now I am by no means suggesting that all or any senior rep is indulging in this but a Union that purports to be for its members should at least be aware that this is a possibility no matter how slight.

Before I finish I must take the time to state that I don't think any of the Senior Reps who post on here would do this or even contemplate it. The level of passion and information passed would seem to negate that possibility.
