You will have at least two revisons over the life time of the agreement.
The Walk sequencing revison will get you £600 on deployment and £ 200 by no later than 6 weeks after deployment.
The other £200 will be a non walk sequencing revison.
So everyone will get the £1000 .
Is that any clearer

Re: £1000 lump sum using delivery methods.
Can you define...You will have at least two revisons over the life time of the agreement.
£200 will be paid to everyone in the delivery unit on deployment of their first non walk sequencing revision.
As opposed to...
£600 will be paid to everyone in the delivery unit on deployment of the walk sequencing revision.
Which one is the del methods one.And what would be in a del methods revision?
The impression i got anyway which is obviously wrong is the del methods and the WSM could be done in one hit,but what you are saying is that is a no no.
So in May when my place gets creamed we will have to go through it again for £200!

Re: £1000 lump sum using delivery methods.
To be honest POSTMAN most of the guys aren't that interested in going through this revision...and that's with £800 and attendance patterns and "weight off the shoulder" on offer....a lot of them just wanted us to stall it for as long as possible.
There is no way they will go through it again in 12 months time for £200.
As far as i'm concerned the journey begins and ends with this revision...they can have the other £200.

I'm not interested in the money at all,i realise that WSM's and CDV's are in and we have to shake things around,s**t happens, but yes to go through it again regardless of money or not is bollox.
But i'm guessing we'll have no choice.

Re: £1000 lump sum using delivery methods.
Yes offices have got lump sums so far 156 delivery offices.
Now Postman you do not have to have delivery methods with walk sequencing. The London Directors policy is that they want to introduce delivery methods with walk seqeuncing however other regions are introducing delivery methods without walk sequencing for example the NW1-NW11 area comes under the Thames Valley management region and most of their offices are having delivery methods introduced now and they dont get walk sequencing until late next year.
If you deploy a delivery methods revison without walk sequencing you recieve £200.
If you have a delivery methods revison with a walk seqeneicing then you will get your £600 and then £200 = £800
Fishtank whilst the revisions should not be budget driven , I do believe most revisons will produce some savings. Even in Scotland`s case where you have halved the savings from the IWT some offices will have an element of savings taken. Your divisonal reps with the help of Bob Gibson have got Royal Mail to pull back from using the capicity planner instead of the IWT.
More concerning is where Royal Mail want to go on the bench mark pack ( upper decile ) which is part of their world class mail`s strategy and is based on a continious improvement strategy a race without a finishing line where you have to keep improving perfromance to get towards the top performing offices but off course when you get to where they were , they have gone further. Their policy is to use weighted items per density of housing grouping offices in metro , rural , surbuban. This will be grossly unfair especially to offices which do not delivery just terraced houses.

Don't forget that RM has forcast a further 10% drop in traffic again next year....so you will as a minimum be required to do a new IWT revsion based on a reduced model weeks traffic. Savings galore

Re: £1000 lump sum using delivery methods.
We`ve just changed to CDV`s and we are due to implement walk sequencing before xmas (great timing eh?). Does this mean we will receive £200 now. £600 when we start walk sequencing and a further £200 six weeks after? Even my gaffer who, by RM standards, is pretty decent can`t seem to get clarification on this.

Have you had a revision with the cdv's and will you have a revision when the walk sequenced mail comes in?ihatedogs wrote:To which revisions do you refer mate?fishtank wrote:If you have the revisions that go with them....then yes.ihatedogs wrote:We`ve just changed to CDV`s and we are due to implement walk sequencing before xmas (great timing eh?). It's the revisions that trigger the lump sums not just getting the stuff i'm afraid.

By revision do you mean change of duties/content and a resign?
