I very much doubt your 5:30 sat start is going to happen, how can it?
We have been receiving walk-sequenced mail for over a year now but we have not yet had a revision.

When we went over to WSM our hours changed but we did manage to keep Saturdays a little shorter with a 7 hour day and an earlier start, 5:30 – 12:30.

During the week all our mech is walk-sequenced with the first arrival around 5:30 and the second around 8:20.

On Saturdays we only receive one delivery of WSM (around 5:15) and our second delivery of mech (around 7:00) is not walk-sequenced.

The expectation in the office is that once we had had the revision this will change and Saturdays will become no different to any other working day.

one or two persons cannot sign this off without your approval

Well in our office this has just come in and things are so complicated now, for starters no one knows the primary, slowing the the sorting down then the prep fittings are allover the place lots of dead walking, before you leave the office you need to pull out the mail for the passanger and you the driver into separate pouches, 4 loops each, then you need to sort all you packets and specials, the other person you are working with does the same from the other fitting, you need to get your pda's, sign for your van keys, go do your van checks, load up then set off,. The walks are not correct, lots of problems on them and lots of stress, I dont personally think this will ever work because the walks are too long and getting out at 11 a.m isnt a very good start when you need to be finished for 3. I did the two full duties and it took till 5.30,. anyone else with similar problems in there offices?.

Never in a million years am I working until that time. Delivering on a sink estate after dark with all the scumbags hanging around just isn't going to happen.

3pm and i'm done, regardless of what's left.

I can't believe that anyone is prepared to work until that time.
All you are doing is papering over the cracks.
Finish on your time and bring the mail back if you really want the problems sorted.
If not......i'm sorry but you kind of deserve what you get.
