What,do you guys keep going till it's all done for no extra pay?
Tbh if you lot are then it's your own fault for swallowing it.
You forget how foggy it gets out there in the sticks Postman. Local agreements this and that ,LTB's never seen ; area reps as common as unicorns ;and all the time some manager saying this is gospel . Things get very grey and murky.
I agree Belial its not easy, but people have to sometimes speak up , managers are being told to do this and they recieve money off postman really (saving hours) in the shape of the bonus they get.
It seems to me that once they got lapsing in, RM are now totally abusing staffs contracts.

Regardless of any agreement you do not have to work one minute unpaid over your contracual hours, end of.
its a you must complete delivery the union rep even signed it off ( we have never seen it)
Its a threat, ring up HR and ask them to look into it. Put a grievance in.
I think the mail volume was down today saying that the packets volume has risen. I had 2 full bulkys bags today again.
Next week is Sky mags.
I noticed our manager coming out of the office today writing on the board number of items, how many on the sorting, time it took to sort, all made up figures for my money.
Do your absorption then hit them with the bombshell you cannot complete, then watch their boat race.
I said a while back i'm moving away from my grow a pair speech but come on,are some people thick ffs!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I had heard of these "no pressure" agreements....i thought it was just an urban myth.
Why anybody would agree to this is beyond me.
Is it part of the 2007 agreement. Is it f..ck. Is it part of the 2010 Agreement. Is it f..ck.
So for godsake, grow a pair and stop whinging. It,s your own fault if you agree to such crap. If you haven,t agreed to it then just stick your fingers up to the Dim and say that you only work to nationally agreed procedures.

But surely the agreement should be revisited as the raison d'être for it (50/50 savings bonus) was removed nationally a few years ago.
You no longer have the benefits so why pay the costs.

I well remember the 50/50 bonus scam -we lost untold hours to part time from full time in the belief that the hours would be shared and that a bonus would be paid.................we've still lost the hours, with the collusion of the union with the buy down scheme too......................the bonus we received in round figures it came to 0.
