I agree the post in question was in poor taste and has been edited as per the 2nd post in this thread.

However, I would have appreciated you using the REPORT feature rather than perhaps compunding the error by quoting the offending section in your own post.

But given the circumstances and the statistical improbability of such a random coincidence ,surely best practice and simple human decency would demand a thorough investigation if only to eliminate any common work related factor, or you could do nothing and sweep events under the carpet until the numbers grow to unignorable levels, please no

This is an extremely sad story and of course any reasonably minded person would first of all offer up sincere condolences to all the family members and colleagues affected by these tragic events. It surely cannot be mere coincidence that these events occured at the same unit and would perhaps indicate that all may not be well in said unit.

I think it is a disgrace that any form of bullying / harrassment etc etc can be allowed to continue this day and age by a business in a modern environment and indeed by the union and ultimately by the workforce.
Shame on anyone knowingly involved or knowingly allowing this type of behaviour without any type of intervention.
I realise that the full circumstances of these events are not yet known and I am in no position to aportion blame - just thought I'd share some thoughts.

Thursday was a sad day for my office and yet again we had to say goodbye to two good men. The office was just coming to terms with the tragic death of steve and then we had these tragic deaths within a week of each other.

I could speculate on how or why these events came to be, but guess I will always be left with WHY.
