A postman punched a disabled man in the face and threatened to kill his dog, a court heard yesterday.
Christopher Collins had a "look of madness and anger" when labrador Belle barked at him as he delivered letters to Christopher Tutin's home.
Mr Tutin, 63, of Gislingham, Suffolk, has had 20 strokes and walks with a stick.
He needed stitches after the "full-blooded punch", he told Ipswich crown court.
Collins, 46, of Roydon, Norfolk, denies assault and Mr Tutin denies trying to hit him. The trial continues.

Was the disabled man a former DOM?

Postman cleared of assaulting dog owner
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-storie ... -22632967/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
A jury yesterday cleared a postman charged with assault after he hit the owner of an angry dog.
Christopher Collins was confronted by the snarling labrador on his round in Gislingham, Suffolk.
He claimed owner Christopher Tutin, 63, pushed and hit him as he tried speak to him about the dog.
Mr Collins, 46, a postman for 23 years, admitted punching Mr Tutin back.
But Ipswich crown court heard he thought the dog would attack and feared being hit for a second time.
