You've got me on board mclovin, I've started bringing a flask with me for my 2 cups per evening.

If a boycott was sucessful, they'd probably start vending the water from the urn in the kitchen. In our canteen you even have to pay for tom sauce if you want more than 1 sachet. Only the first one is free.

They'll be hiring out the cutlery next.

They don't even charge that much in the small corner shops.
I buy 3in1 Nescafe sachets £1 for 10, just add hot water. I think this is the end of Quadrant :wave

Did anyone have those "honesty" snack trays from a few years ago, with everything laid out on a table and a little honesty box for your cash? What a nice idea that was, ours got taken away after a month because it had made a big loss, the firm promoting it said they had one in Perth prison which was less down!

If you have coffee or tea at 40p a shot 5 days a week and 48 weeks of the year it would amount to an extra £12.00. In total £96.00 a year  . I think it will be end of the canteen if every body stopped using the machines.

it is a rip of, Quadrant is no longer an In House company, it must make aprofit like any other business, so it uses its captive audience, to havest profits from, its worse in some D Os that is in the middle of nowhere and must rely on the canteen for drinks and food.

I too have noticed that quality has gone down, prices up, plates and cutlery is dirty, I had to pick out the cleanest ones and leave the rest, I am deffo bringing my own stuff in.
