This basically means they lose jobs overall but increase the amount of full time jobs. In the main they have agreed where delivery methods have been deployed 4 hours 30 mins however on average because replishment time and relax breaks are included in the 4 hours 30 mins then in reality the delivery span is less than 4 hours.
Branch`s have agreed and off course offices will have a vote on their own local revision.
It may not be for everyone but the members will decide.
Thanks for the reply Dingo, very interesting news pity it ain't happenning no new duty structures for most never mind more FT jobs.
But again thanks for the news, something to check out and use when the time comes.

If you use park&loop with a trolley it will add approx 30mins to a walking delivery just physically pulling the thing around with you...then your 20min "relax" break and then there is "replenishment" time so that's roughly an hour and takes you back to your original 3hrs 30min delivery span so no need for any extra streets really.
So...i'll open it to the floor...has anybody who has seen the new park&loop deliveries came across any that haven't had anything added to them?.........
Oh...and i nearly forgot all of those extra packets, tracked and specials.
So really they should be taking streets off existing duties...anybody witnessed that particular miracle.
How can the NE Area be losing jobs?...that's just bloody carelessness.

It's easy to do extra on park and loop here's how to do it in easy steps.
1, Come in early at least 30 min before start time.
2, Leave the primary sorting to others, just prep your own duty.
3, Dont take a break.
4, Abandon trolley and run round with bag on back.
See easy really

My DOM has zero cover avaialble next week to be able to release me.
Waiting to see if his boss will authorise O/T
What! You selfish b*stard, overtime or release time, just where do your loyalties lay young man
Great agreement, the only egg in the basket and when it was cracked open..................phew!
Well, it puts RM on the spot, are they willing to pay O/T and get a set of revision proposals being voted on sooner or do they want that to happen later. Sadly for RM there is no hope of revision being in for 1st Nov and after that its plain bonkers to do it before Jan 2011.
Luckily for RM , the anticipated sick leave levels for next week have gone down (mbr wants to avoid stage 3, he is having a tough time at the mo outside of work has had sick leave due to stress caused by his situation) therefore they can cover me.

This is my 3rd revision and like the previous two it will be voted by the members via the ballot box, so far its one voted in one not voted in.
What will happen with this revision ballot is anyones guess
I havent even got delivery routes sorted out yet, trying to decide which to be standard 5 day fixed/rotating day off and which will be 9 day fortnights is the biggest challenge.
Come on CCR, there's nothing funnier than his attempts at sarcasm and wit.....................anyway he's nothing else else to do in his retirement home (or whatever he's doing now ).

Normally I'm all for an inclusive society as well (that's why I voted for Tommy Sheridan)
But Nightie?...........You're a bigger man than me FT (in a metaphorical sense anyway)
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
