Wrote this at the bottom of the last page so going to ask again in case people missed it - Do we still get an extra 20% if a Monday was a Bank Holiday? And what happens if they're the Council magazines which weigh a ton and used to be 4p per item???

No you don't get any more delivery supplement and the council s**t....you take to capacity split your bags and make sure you stick to the bag weight matrix...and if all this pushes you over your time...you book or cut off.

Question 1 - Do we get an extra 20% for Bank Holidays -PostieWithTheMostie! wrote: Wrote this at the bottom of the last page so going to ask again in case people missed it - Do we still get an extra 20% if a Monday was a Bank Holiday? Answer - No
Question 2 - What about heavy council mags that used to attract a 4p premium
Answer - they are part of the £20.60 delivery supplement.( If however you have not had a delivery methods revision your DOM has to show solutions to weight on delivery issues.)
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: The 'How was your D2D today?' thread
In our office this week, the lino was running around monday morning after we had started at 6am trying to put the D2D out on the frames a lot of us never put them into the frame as we stated that they was not there when we started and consequently later in the week the lino said as from next week any D2D that is not delivered we will have to sign a sheet to say why, I put it to her that make sure they are on the frames at the right time when we arrive Monday morning , she did not know what to say,

Re: The 'How was your D2D today?' thread
5 ITEMS every week for last 2 month's
590 drops on walk
98 drops per day given 6 day delivery span
I'm on a 25 hour contarct worked over 4 days, 2 days a week my walk is covered by floater who delivers 196 drops for me (2/6ths)
All being delivered but NOT GETTING PREP TIME for d2d.
Same for most guys in office
when raising issue with line manager they'll say "i'll see if i can get you some prep tommorow". sometimes it'll happen sometimes wont meaning I'm going over my finish time and not being paid overtime for this.
Is there anything set in stone about prep time for d2d's ? or do we have to wait for review?

To aid the transition, offices that have not deployed delivery methods revisions will have to provide genuine and demonstrable solutions to any weight or volumetric issues.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: The 'How was your D2D today?' thread
Had 5 lots of D2Ds every week for the last 2 months, as others have said no time being allocated to do them, makes you wonder what happens in the New Year when we get 6.7 or 8 every week, will they be put in envelopes like Royal Mail say or is that just another lie

Re: The 'How was your D2D today?' thread
Well it would have to be financially viable to invest in the machinery and extra staff so most areas would have to be getting 6+ on a regular basis for a start....then you would have to consider whether you could automatically collate various different sizes and shapes of D2D.malcolm3011 wrote:what happens in the New Year when we get 6.7 or 8 every week, will they be put in envelopes like Royal Mail say or is that just another lie
Then of course there is the question of whether RM actually has the funds to automate the D2Ds
Then of course there is the threat of privatisation around the corner.
So i think the answer to your question is....not very feckin likely.
