Moving on from the size of the walks, lets get to times.
How or why do part timers go out at a different times from full timers, htf does that work.
Surely the only difference is the start time so the IPS and prep is absorbed, obviously depending on contract size, because technically you are all supposed to leave the office at the same time.IE on the same van ect.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Part Timers Trying To Make Fools of Full Timers.
I'm a part timer, i start at 9am. Full timers start at 6am.
often when i arrive, my prep is not finished.
Full timers head out on delivery at 9.30.
myself and the other part timers are always left behind to finish prepping and bagging our walks (although we were all told when we started we would just arrive at 9am , bag up and leave as all the prep would be done, it never is, apart from when it is a light day). We often leave the office about 10am roughly.
It was job and knock until recently the manager has demanded everyone come back after delivery to sort out the afternoon delivery from the mail centre.
Now i often pass postmen who used to be flying around and rushing to get done really taking there time to avoid going back to the office to do sorting.
Although there is always the few arselickers who say "there is no way i'm going back to help out",, who are always first people back helping out, which is making the manager worse and worse, cutting peoples hours, because he has his bunch of brown noses who screw everyone up, by rushing around.

Brasseye, I know how you feel mate, since the 2,3,4,5, lots of door to doors has came into force the full timers cant get the walks prepped up as such, they don’t want to go over or do overtime, so you have to understand, its think of yourself and down tools, its not that we have a issue with the part timers, but its down to the manager to sort it out. The manager put us on frames that we never have thrown off before.brasseye wrote:I'm a part timer, i start at 9am. Full timers start at 6am.

We need to stand our ground and say “I’m not going over, take some off me, I know its difficult for part timers but that’s the way it is unfortunately.
