All I can say is the manages are looking at the times the part timer finishes and then lays into the full timer on his/her return, not taking into consideration the full timer has been on the ips sorting and lapsed as well. You part timers out there SLOW DOWN your cutting your own throats at the end of the day…and your trying to make a fool of your colleagues….
Totally barking up the wrong tree pal,you need to take a look from other peoples perspectives to understand it,firstly being the part timers.Either your too slow or dragging it out on purpose!.(especially if someone else can do it in half the time!)I would go for the latter as I see this on a daily basis from full timers(and their open and honest about it).Now that theres half of what used to come up through ips(and not due to mail dropping off,but more coming up through sequenced coded boxes)Us P/T's(30 hours anyways)come in at 8;15,2 hours after F/T's naturally. But by 8;15 F/T's are already on their large or better,in somecases theyve done and taking their lapsed out.All this lapsed s***e is causing no end of upset between F/Ts and P/Ts.People even fighting over differnce in opinions.Personally I think its all part of the RM plan.Divide and conquer and all that jazz.
Some of the part timers are coming in early, getting out earlier than the full timers,
they don't absorb but come back in great time, and do overtime to make their wages up,
Manager then asks the Full timer next day how come Johnny can do your walk with loads of time spare??
they don't take into consideration that Johnny came in 1 hour early than he should have done and Johnny never absorbed, and then customers give back mail to the full timer the next day saying that little Johnny wants to slow down, he had mail for the next avenue, in my avenue, he does every week.. the part timers just rush around and make a mockery out of the job, there young and don't give a toss basically...
Who's fault is this?is it the part timers fault that modern day gaffers are usually to dumb to take this into consideration? NO. So whilst I dont agree with
ANYONE coming in early.it is certainly not the be all and end all of the problem.I hate my office at the moment, from the top;-I hate the stupid and more to the point ignorant and oblivious to their surroundings gaffers! .I hate the F/T hypocrites! the ones that have a problem that always comes round to it being "Part timers that did it!",But I also hate a good chunk of hypocrite Part timers too!.I hate my non-existent union rep! for being the first out the door everyday, and the first to finish everyday!.but when he makes an anouncement he says"job and off is gone!,theres no making time anyomore!(GRRRRRRrrrrrr

).You have people slagging people off constantly!then being nice to their face!. heres a typical scenario;;;;;-
FTJohn;- What time you supposed to start Mick?
PTMick;- 8:15
(John and Mick then chat about crap for half hour,as you do,Mick then goes for his IPS)
John then turns to Dave.
John;-Did you hear that?he's come in 15 mins early!is he thick?.does he realise he's doing us all out of jobs?etc, etc, etc.
Meanwhile john forgets to add that he uses his car,for his lapsed part, for his bags, and to get him out there!.
So whos giving who time here? and being an absolute hypocrite and a cretin to boot!.
Im sorry Cantona but you sound no diferent to the Fulltimers that I have to listen to on a daily basis. You have started a thread not slagging off 1 person, but if you read your headline"Part timers trying to make fools of fulltimers"

.you are aiming it at the lot of us!.Tarring everybody because you got issues with one person!how narrow minded and naive are you?.
If you have issues with him,go and see HIM!,or better still, highlight this to the gaffers before hand.rather than expecting them to know all the ins and outs afterwards.
