The main web site other than my off the hook one that got me fired is CUPW which the thread has linked to. My perspective is certainly a biased one. I was a union activist and went off on my own making a confrontational web site posting Moya Greene's resume on it. She tried to sue me twice for slander and I kicked both firm's a*s. Then I got cocky and sent her and the board of directors a fake e-mail making fun of her losing in court. They traced the e-mail to my ip and fired me for the e-mail. Really the web site was what pissed her off.

Anyways, I see two issues. 1) She is not as good at business as she claims. 2) She even doesn't get along with her other managers. She's a Newfie. In Canada that's like being from Kerry in Ireland. It's a politically incorrect stereotype of someone who isn't very bright. She is one of those who are obsessed with privatization at all costs. Even if it costs more money to do it. She just slashed and burned when she was with the Post Office in Canada. She does not have an ability to create business revenue. Likely mail delivery more than once a day will be a thing of the past. We lost that a long time ago. However, going to the other extreme of delaying the mail is just plain bad business.

I used to work in London many years ago. My grandfather was born there. I write a lot of political satire that many find offensive. However, her leaving Canada Post now is wonderful news for us. It is before the contract expires and before the big strike over losing sick leave like the office workers and the managers already lost. She took away their sick leave and came up with the Short Term Disability program. That is why they call her the STD Queen.

Finian, that web site of yours' looks like it needs updating -- big time, even more than mine does. Having said that, it doesn't look much different from any other non-table-based websites.

I read very recently that Moya the Destroya had left special instructions to the newly appointed CEO of Canada Post, Deepak Choppra, with the ones that include that still untried and untested 'Park and Loop' method. It might not be the exact same method, but there is an unmistakable similarity to what will happen over here, that is now taking place over there...

Canada Post, it seems, are also having their workforce thinned to such an extent that performance has long gone out of the window. The funny thing is, they're not being prepped as we are for privatisation. They, I believe have won their right to remain a government run public service. From what I have read, their workloads are colossal, and are much maligned by those who don't know fug all about anything. They say things like, if the rural areas had 'super mailboxes' then they could have an even smaller workforce. They say things like this because they know fug all about anything -- a cheap shot, or shots comes to mind.

I'm starting to wonder if there is a way to discredit this Moya. If this is indeed her work. That is, the 'Park & Loop' new way of working then we surely should be asking more questions of her, and not be expecting to carry on taking it on the chin.

They would pick up their bags in the morning, with the mail presorted by machine, then head out in Canada Post trucks to deliver both letters and parcels, empty the red letter boxes in their district and pick up mail from local postal outlets.

Greetings. I've been adding links to some of the recent demonstrations in England about the cuts and am advertizing for the March 26th demo. Those kinds of demonstrations are good. Moya Greene left Canada because Canada wasn't ready to privatize the Post Office. It seems that David Cameron is determined to privatize everything under the sun and is why they hired her to do the dastardly deed. Thank god Canada is no longer part of our protection when the public of this nation realise these scumbags are found of improper business practices we could hang her and her merry men on reason of terrorism of the postal service of this country!.

I have more family in Canada than I have at home in Scotland. Evry one of them thinks the quality of service provided by Canada Post is really poor. No Saturday deliveries, mail boxes that don't get emptied for days, mail taking between a week and a fortnight to get delivered (even local mail), parcels and letters requiring do not get delivered and instead have to be collected from a local post office. This is the kind of service that Moya Greene left behind at Canada Post. Is this what we want to happen in the UK?
Finally, a wee word of warning to Moya Greene if she is reading this.
DON'T TRY ANY OF THAT FUNNY STUFF OVER HERE. IT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
