I take letters on a daily basis as might be expected in such a rural area and never any problems. :Very Happy

'here you go' i said, ' oh im not collecting just stick it in the mail box' she said what time does it come. i said, 'what does it say on the mail box.' '10am' she said. 'well its 1015 now so youve prob missed it.' 'oh so has the mail been collected then?' she said. 'well probably unless hes late which i doubt but i dont know' i said. ' she started toget angry towards me. she shrugged her shoulders and walked to the letter box and put the letter in started walking to her tank smiling at me and said, 'thats why royal mail is going down the pan, BGECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU.' lol ??????????

what can you say to these people? ive learnt that they just want to be right and have you aggree and say sorry and beg for forgiveness. if i explain to thme, there either not interested or get angry. if i say sorry and walk off to avoid conflict they get more angry and start name calling and if i just ignore and say nothing there angry and abusive. now this is a small minority, like 1 in 5 thousand ppl but there just so pathetic and need to get a life or hobbie or someting.

Ive had pretty much the same situation a double drop box joined onto a pillar box
difference being i was loading my red bag
do they really think posties collect in the red bag and do delivery at the same time?
oh hold on.that will be the next revision............

Well they say what goes around comes around - we used to do exactly that - on a foot delivery round you DID empty the boxes - except at christmas of course.
yeah but you only had about 20 calls

Over the years RM has given the impression that posties are lazy gits, all using spanish practices. A frequent question we get asked is "When we going on strike again". Its unbelivable. Sadly our union don't support us enough.
When it comes to customers complaining just walk away or ignore them. Getting into arguments with customers doesn't win you any favours, worse if they complain. Take a note of where they live and ......... and delibarely make as much noise puttin through their mail as possible and crumbled too :Very Happy .

Well that's a slight exaggeration, it was probably nearer 800 but the volume of mail was vastly different, about 3 pouches covered it.
