Back of the van with a Lucozade bottle
Enough of your sexual predilections, DGP, but what do you do when you need to pee?

NOT on frosty days though, because it looks like the tree.shed. fence is on fire.

Actually it is a serious subject and it does no good to stretch the bladder by holding your water - it must be a particular problem for women on delivery - blokes can pretty well mask what they are doing but a woman can't.

Im fitter than most, do the gym regulary, well when i aint completly f****d. I dont do it as regulary anymore because of this job,Prob 2 or 3 times a week now as this job takes its toll, ie complete burnout, sore joints etc, and im only 33 ffs.
We have that many people in our office atm on light duties due to injuries etc caused on walks, due to the increase in work, bulkmail, more packets etc, think this is the sign of the times for many.

Apparently lord lucan,(our rep) turned up the other day and said soon we wont be using mail bags  as we will be working from a trolley now, as we wll push it to the end of every garden, i said well that shouldput another hour or so on my walk then as you cant cut through gardens etc, plus the drivers will take the work out for flats/maisonettes etc, f**k me they dont do the packets for them atm, nevermind deliver the mail.

As for taking a piss, just do what someone in our office does and piss yourself instead.

It is a serious issue....where is Dave Joyce these days?,he seems to be very quiet.
Anyway this is his work.
Welfare facilities & Toilets
Due to the potential for delivery staff to be away from their unit for extended periods of time
it is necessary to ensure there is suitable and sufficient access to welfare facilities particularly
sanitary conveniences. Access to toilets is a human right – doing without is not an option and
where there are no toilets available on the delivery walk or adjacent delivery walks then a
return to the unit is necessary.
Of course that was never agreed with Royal Mail so it's kind of pointless flannel really. :cuppa

Managing Fatigue and Staff Welfare

When planning duties with flexible spans the following welfare issues need to be considered:
• Pegasus should be fully exploited to identify appropriate toilet facilities and include these in walk-logs.

I think that means you have to piss in your walk log. :confused :chuckle
