if this is what they are classing as a non walk sequenced revision, (bullocks to that)
People in N ireland must have a different agreement than the rest of the UK
when are the union going to stand up for the workers who pay their subs

What does this mean!!!!!!!!!!!
If you are receiving Sequenced mail 6 days a week and the M/C is achieving 60/ 40 split, whats the point of a REVISION
or am I just thick   :arrrghhh :arrrghhh
Both of you,as far as i'm aware when you have a full WS revision even if you have not had a non WS revision you will recieve the £200 and the £600 in one hit, with the other £200 later on.
This is what is probably going to happen at my place, and trust me we will get the blood money.
Ignore what managers say,you should know that by now.

That will proably be the delivery methods revision that will be the trigger for the non WS £200 in the example you describe.

My D.O is having a NON WS revision which basically brings in changes to attendance patterns and deals with the surplus time/reduction in IPS mail my D.O has seen over the last 18 months.

When WS revision is implemented we get the £600 and the £200 no later than 6 weeks after deployment.

So just to get this right is it a WSM revision or a Delivery Methods Revision, as I believve these are two different issues :wave :funneh

Just because you have WS mail you will still need to have a revision, judging by what you are saying you have not had a WS revision yet.
You can't have a non WS revision (200 WOTNOTS)because you already have WS.
When you have your WS revision you should get £800 spondoolies. Then the last £200 no later than 6 weeks after deployment.

:funneh With regards to WS,it should really be WC.

Lets try and get some clairty

In a D.O there is £800 on offer (pro rata of course) which has deployment of a sequenced mail revision as its qualifying criteria, as part of that revision a 39 hour week will be introduced.

There is a further £200 on offer which again has implementation of a revision as its qualfying criteria.

Also £200 (pro rata of course) is on offer for deployment of a Non sequenced mail revision which may or may not have delivery methods as part of it

My D.O is not having delivery methods yet but is having a revison so once thats deployed we will qualify for £200 (pro rata of course)

The big question is will RML do delivery methods as a stand alone revision for my office or combine with sequenced mail/39 hour week in 2012?

Our office already has walk seqeunced mail and we have had the £200. (I think, after tax you forget a few quid after a couple of weeks)
We are due soon for the office to be 'Pegasused' with walk sequencing parameters and we should then get £600 with £200 following 6 weeks later (unless they make a complete balls up and blame us).

Just a quick one , i noticed you said you`ve had your first £200 as you are getting walk seqeunced mail.
We are also getting walk seqeunced mail and have done for the last 3-4 and we`ve had no money ?
Should i be pushing this with my rep ?.....also we`ve had no other changes apart from the walk seqeunced mail.
thanks.

Sounds like you have not got the money as no revision has been deployed.

Deployment of revisions is the criteria to get the money. WS mail simply turning up DOES NOT meet the criteria in the 2010 agreement.

WS mail revision will bring in the 39 hour week which means a revision to revise duty hours and workload to fit the SWW, then once thats deployed you get some money.

What is the point of a revision at all if it doesn't include delivery methods - that is the reason for a revision under this agreement and triggers the £200 payment.
Where cycles are replaced by HCTs and bulk deliveries, at least in part, are replaced by CDVs with park and loop. This strikes me as yet another example of some areas actually suiting themselves as to how they implement the agreement whilst others are locked into the changes.

Any revisions that don't include either delivery methods or WSM..or both are in my humble opinion just savings exercises and should be avoided if possible.
If you are doing it for £200 you need to see a doctor as something has come loose up there.

Just so ft, it would appear that either they are circumventing the system to trigger the £200 OR the exercise is purely cost saving which will be revisited on the other revisions. I can't imagine why anyone would engage in a spurious revision exercise unless there was an ulterior motive.

Delivery methods would I assume require planners, of which there are not enough. A point to revisions without methods is attendance patterns.

What 2010 dosent say is delivery methods revision for £200. It simply says non sequenced mail revision for £200

There is no detail in the agreement as to what a non sequenced mail revision entails.

Without new delivery methods how can innovative attendance patterns be fully explored?
Any new attendance patterns that involve longer daily attendances will bring longer delivery spans and in my opinion this is not a sensible route to explore without new delivery methods.
Remember any attendance patterns brought in now will have to be sustainable through a delivery methods and a WSM revision.
In my opinion you will be risking unnecessary cuts,H&S issues and possibly providing attendance patterns that may have to be removed or revisited at a later date.....but it is just an opinion. :whistle
