Day off today. Am a bit bored because everyone else is at work. But I know Thursday is likely to be a terrible day, so I don't care much. Our postman still hasn't come, I suspect we'll have an over-timer turn up around 2pm/3pm. Although there have been a few times in the past when the postman simply hasn't come. Controlled carry-over, perhaps?

We've had it good here, no rain till 4pm and no rain in the morning for a long while. We're due a bad 'un.

In other news, postwoman turned up at about 2.20pm. I was mildly interested in a way I wouldn't have been before joining RM.

Finished my walk about 2-20pm (just managed to avoid an amazing flood with thunder,lightning - the works !) - bus back to office and then went out again and "did a row" for 1hr 15mins (it took me 1hr 23mins - not bad considering I didn't know the duty). Whilst finishing the actual "work" at a decent time, it's always the "getting back to the office" and "getting out again" that seems to gobble up the time, when you haven't got a car ... and then there's the "getting home" ...

Never mind - day off tomorrow - and I ain;t working it

Today was very busy! (so much for low mail volumes!)

Set of 5 d2d's
One sack and a half of packets! (including 31 recorded!!!!! wtf!!!!)

Loads of people not in!

oh yeah and it rained!!

off tomorrow and monday though!

Did a walk and a half in constant rain. Boots got soaked through after the first hour. The half a walk I did was unfamiliar to me and i didn't have a clue what I was doing really. Nice to be home in my comfy chair!

Lightest sat in ages. Got out by 8am and could have been back by 11.30 but i took my time and enjoyed the walk in the sunshine, got in at 12 noon bang on my time

Took my sick note into work this morning just as the managers were leaving to do a walk..........4 of them on 1 walk!, even though there were loads uncovered. Glad to be out of there for a while to be honest.
