Where is the CWU in all this. Why hasn,t Billy been at the forefront of this outrage. Where is ACAS in all this. Lets face it there is no scrutiny. These outside influences are probably all being told that the agreement is going along smoothly, because according to big Dave in every comment I have seen from him, that the agreement is the be all and end all, and will be at the forefront of protecting Royal Mail against privitisation. Lip service is all it is, whilst the coalface workers are being torn apart by a ruthless government and management team, carrying on what Labour started.

So you do 5 as per the agreement and your DOM decides which one gets left to next week.
If he insists you have to do 6, ask him where in the agreement it tells you how much time should be built in to the duty for 6 D2D, and get your rep to get in contact with your area rep to sort this out.
The point about the increase in D2D is it should be phased to ensure 100% quality of service.

It's weak...it's not even in the agreement but there it is.1. D2D sales are expected to ramp up as follows: 4 items from 7 June, 5 items from 12th July (to be confirmed) 6 items from 3rd January 2011 and thereafter greater volumes as delivery methods roll out continues and D2D automation comes on stream. The actual number of D2D contracts will vary by delivery unit depending on customer demand. To aid transition, offices that have not deployed delivery methods revisions will have to provide genuine and demonstrable solutions to any weight or volumetric issues.

Well, my favourite saying was that this agreement would be judged on the words - and the words in this case say "are expected" not "will not be exceeded".clashcityrocker wrote:Introducing D2D into Workload.Judgee wrote: Four is the 'agreement', five in oct/nov and six in Jan

This agreement has more holes in it than a bag ladies knickers, despite all the protestations that this was "the deal of the century" and that full time jobs are protected and that Brendan Barber and ACAS were on board - absolute garbage. There never was any protection whatsoever from the bullying and executive action other than the "grow a pair" and "if you were in London". Only one group stood to gain anything at all from this agreement and they certainly don't work for a living.

It would seem that some areas are subsidising the delivery supplement of others.MAILMAN84 wrote:We're getting 5 already constantly, not 6 yet but not 4 either :(

Not just by area ft, but by individualsfishtank wrote:It would seem that some areas are subsidising the delivery supplement of others.MAILMAN84 wrote:We're getting 5 already constantly, not 6 yet but not 4 either :(
Surely it would have made more sense if the DS had been specific to a delivery duty and there would have been more money for it.

That was always going to be the case.fishtank wrote:It would seem that some areas are subsidising the delivery supplement of others.MAILMAN84 wrote:We're getting 5 already constantly, not 6 yet but not 4 either :(
Remote areas that are never going to attract a high level of unaddressed advertising , were always going to be "subsidised" by their city cousins.
Quite right too.
