The charity bags are a mare. I put them in the side pocket of my bag (they're small and light enough) and pull them out one-by-one. Then spend an hour trying to get them through each letter box . . .. In other d2d news, I had seven items left of my d2ds at the end of the week just finished. I DEFINITELY visited every house. Guy next to me always has about twenty fewer d2ds than required for their walk. Maybe I'm getting his as well.

I would say it's near enough impossible for the D2D bundling guys to get the amount needed spot on,it's the same everywhere, walks are short of them and other have too much.
Just hand over any excess to your manager to cover yourself.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

4 weeks ago: 4
3 weeks ago: 4
2 weeks ago: 4
Last week: 2
This week: 5

Delivery points are usually anywhere between 600 and 750 per walk... 50-60 tenement buildings. Having a thoroughly delightful time at the moment, as you can imagine.

Welcome Joyman. :wave
I hope you have been told that on walks that are predominantly stairs (50/60 tenements) you shouldn't be carrying more than 5kg/bag.
And don't leave it unattended on the ground floor.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

They're never going to come in an envelope, most of these managers are really not fit for the position they hold and the sooner they're removed the better for RM.

O/T will be booked by me shows the true cost of providing the service.

Not only that my duty is prime HCT material which will add 30 mins at least to the working day.

Managers reckon sequenced mail will counter act the HCT :hmmmm

does that include the possibility of also getting maybe 10 or 12 sets of d2ds?
