There'll probably be a notice up tonight when I go in.... Wouldn't bet on it though.

I reckon they'll want Hemel Stevenage & Watford processing in the new place by next September/October followed by the deliveries early 2012,got to admit i was surprised that RM decided to put deliveries in the same building as a processing operation,i would of thought they would try to keep the two functions seperate, that also brings me to my next point, with Hemel,Berko & Kings Langley deliveries & the three mail centres being combined, the car parking is going to be a bit of a squeeze :cool

No idea.......no idea of the dates yet either,my main worry is the fact that three mail centres rolled into one + Hemel,Berko & Kings langley deliveries where are we going to park our cars(if i am lucky enough to be offered a job at the new mail centre :Very Happy )yellow lines on the roads all round the site and only 220 car parking places for staff on site. There is a public car park down the road by the shops, but as to weather or not thats free,i know not!!!!

I think the parking for Royal Mail vehicles is going to be tight in the yard anyway, all them Bipper vans from the 3 delivery offices + the 600's from the 3 mail centres

Does anyone know where the workshops will be? almost certainly no space on the Maylands Avenue site for them.

As far as i know its just the one HUGE warehouse right on Maylands Ave,entrance is in Maxted Road.

Its going to be an out-house for packets this christmas,so i guess the installation of machinery or any other work they need to do will not start until January
