So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

I blame the customers. If they didn't plant bushes either side of their paths and let them overgrow, and put hanging plant baskets either side of the front door, my life would be a tiny bit easier. I detest walking through wet overgrown gardens and getting covered in cobwebs.

Don't they want visitors? Don't they want their mail?

What is this damn obsession with having a load of overgrown plant pots around the front door?

One flat has narrow steps leading up to the door, and every step has a damn plant pot on it. You'd think they'd take a hint when the pots get knocked over every day. I make a point of scooping up as many cobwebs as I can... with their letters.. and deliver them. Better in their house than my hair.

When I had my afternoon nap today  there was a big spider on the ceiling :nervous . Do you know how difficult it is to vacuum the ceiling! Just think myself lucky it were'nt that big otherwise I think I would've moved out.

Easy option - go head first for the door and stab the webs with your hat ...

Stormproof- I'd have gone for a nap somewhere else. In the garden on the swing bench if necessary in the pouring rain rather than lie under one!
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
