Has anybody heard that SHREWSBURY mail centre may loosing there OUTWARD mail to CHESTER and WOLVERHAMPTON, because WARRINGTON MC want to take in the Wirral from chester! So chester want to find mail from somewhere else to process, Any truth in this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's already 77 miles to take the mail between Aberystwyth and Shresbury so an extra 42 to or from Chester can surely only mean earlier collections and later deliveries 
but I suppose that's what they call progress or mean by 'modernisation'.

Yes. but it would not be an extra 42 miles as they could take it via maccy and dolgelau?

but if that sort of distance is possible, Mail Centres can be 190 or so miles apart which means that there don't need to be many of them across the country.
