Overtimers who supposedly cover your walk when you are off, who then hide mail under your frame that you get stuck with when you return along with the killoffs they also 'forgot' to do. These feckwits also tend to throw the mail through any old door they like meaning you get the flack from people on your walk for thier cockups. Mind you I hate the numnut managers that just shrug thier shoulders when you tell them as apparently overtimers can pick and choose what they do and you 'have' to clear up the mess even though they have been paid for it and you haven't!!!

It's not as easy to do a walk you don't know than you imply. I always make mistakes on overtime, it's not a personal sleight on whoever's walk it is usually. There are also places I cannot find which sometimes = mail going back. I always do my deaders though, although no-one ever does mine so it would only be a case of treating others as I myself am treated.

Like a fool I always leave a clear frame before I have time off.... would be nice to come back to the same just once!

Mistakes will always happen when people cover walks, I'm referring to glaringly obvious ones, like delivering two different doctors mail to eachother even though they are opposite ends of the walk. One letter could be understood, two bundles with the adress on 200+ letters is just bloody slack!

Complain how overworked they are while finishing 1.30 hours early every day.
Constantly slag the union off for doing nothing for them
Moan from start to EARLY finish
Constantly moaning & snitching to Dom about what you are doing or not doing

I have that at every office I work in. When they realise that, although I might not have been in the business as long as them, I know more about what's going on and how to do the job properly, they usually back off. If not, I tell em

I simply remind tell them about my work history and how they should be grateful they've had it easy for so long. Now however, it's not like the good old days, we're being shat on from a great height and if they carry on working as they are (cutting corners etc) then far from being a good colleague, they're going to add to the downfall of the people who remain when they're gone. That, to me, makes them selfish barstewards.
