What type of customers annoy you most

Always have people stopping asking me for directions. The thing is, I know most of the area now for about a mile around, it's when they ask me for directions to a street that I know by logical deduction MUST be miles away that I get really hacked off.

after almost 20 years of people saying it and schoolchildren singing the theme tune my partner got so fed up of hearing "postman pat...wheres your cat" he said "i strangled it, i f'in hate cats" , says the look on their faces was priceless, his other hate was school kids thinking he was a legitamate target for snowballs , once again he stopped it by telling a 16 year old that if he didnt stop it he'd rub his face down a rough cast wall ( he isnt a violent person and wouldnt have been so stupid as to do it but it had the desired effect) or another was junkies asking for their giro cheques years ago, when they asked have you any giro's postie he used to reply to some by saying "yes but i keep them all, how do you think i get out at the weekend" after years of crap he reached the end of his tether and gave as good as he got, he's never regretted taking ill health retirement and feels sorry for the guys left behind

the other day i had a special delivery for this woman and her daughter lives next door.
i was walking round not quite at her house yet and she saw me but she got into her car and drove off so i had to put a 739 theo her door.
the next day her daughter stopped me and asked why i had put a 739 thro when i saw her mum drive off. well she (mother) didnt stop me did she??! if she was expecting something then she couldve at least waited for me rather than drive off and its all MY fault!! apparently the special was importnant too.
i mean come on 9 times out of 10 special deliveries are usually expected.

Earlier today i knocked on a door with a special, an Asian woman answered the door while screaming Urdu (or whatever it was) down the phone to someone. The usual: "Hi, can you print and sign here etc etc", she sighed and gave a loud groan, I had obviously knocked at a bad time!

She took the card off me then literally did a tiny little scrible and practically threw the card and pen back at me, then tried to grab the special out of my hand! "HOLD ON!, Can you PLEASE print your name above your signature, or i can't give it to you!" Her eyes then rolled into the back of her head, followed by an even louder groan of frustration. She grabbed the card and pen and literally did exactly the same scribble in the box above, dropped the pen and card on the floor and grabbed the special out of my hand as i went to pick them up! Before i could say anything the door was slammed shut in my face! I felt like i had been robbed!

Seriously, what is wrong with these morons? Methinks a pre-written red card is destined for her letterbox whenever she has a special or parcel in the future.

I think you did very well. I always struggle not to be rude to grumpy customers or customers who complain about stupid things.

One of my customers done that the other day. I knew she had gone out because she passed me in her car when I started on the street. Did'nt want to post them back through, so knocked on the neighbours door and told them. Think they took them in until she returned home............no thanks though
