A mere 5 years! Possibly one of the last handful of full time contracts issued by the Royal Mail???

In my induction all were part time contracts bar one

When I started if you weren't ready by 7.00 the van left without you :wink:

On a light day we could get a delivery into one bag - on a heavier day you'd split it into two bags :Very Happy

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I've just reached the halfway point in my 26 week contract. Not particularly fussed either way what happens after that.

Yeah i was one of the last too, im coming up on 7 years next march!
They can't have liked me, I'm 7 years in and still on 31.5 hours, lying feckers told me no-one in the country got full time any more. Don't think I'd take it now if offered.

In my 37th Year. Started when it was the good old G.P.O., we had managers that could manage, the job was the best in the world, no door to door crap then, look at the state of the job today, the service to the customer is pathetic, at least I can remember the good times, they will never come back !!!!! :sad:
