Yes, RMC has been Hacked in the past, and the account files were compromised. Everyone was warned to change their passwords, and security has been improved, in an attempt to stop further hacks. Were IB involved?
Of course not! Why resort to illegal methods, when they can get the details legally, with a Court Order?
So far, that has never happened here. But Court Orders can be used to track our activity ANYWHERE on the 'Net. Are you this worried about Facebook,Twitter, etc.?

ROYAL MAIL CHAT - HACKED FOR THE SECOND TIME
Some supporter of Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman (Arabic: عمر عبد الرحمن) has hacked my favourite site. Strange thing is he says in his message هداء لكل شخص عنده احترام لذاته وتذكروا ولا عمركم ترحموا هيك اشكال which google translates as "A greeting everyone has respect for itself Remember not Omar Rahman Heck Forms". Strange way to show respect he hacks sites and takes them down, and the weird thing is most on that site are against the illegal wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. I suppose he feels justified doing what he did as he thinks he is hitting back at the "West", its certainly less traumatic than suicide bombings, but don't they realise that indiscriminate attacks, whatever there form, against everyone in the West has the same effect as it does when the West Armed forces attack Arabs and Muslims. It drives those you are attacking into sympathy with those you aim to hurt, and extends the suffering on all sides. As small and as insignificant as his attack was there will now be some who, however absurd it sounds, be more likely to support the US and UK governments.

All we ever did on there was moan at the Royal Mail, and shock horror, we disagreed with the policies of our own Government. Then someone who does not understand our politics decides that we, a workers forum, are ripe for and are a legitimate target for a hack. I will never understand the politics of hate and I will never see why people get enjoyment from destroying others hard work.

I know posting this means that I will likely be a target for the same self hacker, but this is a barely used blogg, rarely visited, so he can hack away and I will forgive him.

BTW This is cracking me up - Don't you think if the IB had hacked this site they would have been more covert about it rather than me announcing it on a blog and BellMail running a story.

BA have done that with BASSA's forum ......Bellendmail would love that to happen ........RM are more relatively benign OR very underhand in that respect depending how you look at things
