exactly, i also thought managers couldn't mess with your contracted hours (duty or SA hours) as they do with your OT.

FFS will you stop moaning about your SA, in the near future you won't be getting any so the little you get now should be taken as a bonus, some people really don;t have enough work to do that they are able to not only work OT but be able to work OT on their holidays.

ps. Why don't you come down to my office and do some work for a change and that way you'll not be complaining for 2 days about it.

As a rule regardless of what days you work,if you have a weeks holiday then you are not allowed to come in on docket or SA.
It's in the way forward.
Another grey area. What if someone comes back on the last day of their annual leave (i.e. coming in on the Sat when they're not due to start back until the Mon) and they get a day in lieu rather than overtime for the Sat, would you say that contravenes the Way Forward Agreement?
You are not allowed to WORK for the business if you are on holiday, period.
If the Saturday consists solely of S/A, then YES, it does contravene The Way Forward. However: There is a "grey area" surrounding S/A before your shift, on the day you return to work. Technically, you shouldn't be able to perform it, as it's before you resume your basic hours. But in practice, I doubt you'd find a DOM pedantic enough to prevent you doing it, as it's on the same day you officially return from your leave. :hmmmm
