Woman injured in cycle accident
A cyclist was taken to hospital with what were described as life-threatening injuries after a crash in Taunton.
Police said she was involved in a collision with a Royal Mail van on the A38 Toneway on Tuesday morning.

The woman was being treated at Musgrove Park hospital. The van driver was not believed to have suffered any injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened on the Toneway between Creechbarrow Road and Priory Way at about 0730 BST.
