I dont agree to that whatsoever..In my experience.. Managers years ago understood employees problems and stages were often overlooked due to the manager not having to justify his decision to faceless office wallers in another part of the country who have no idea whats it like to work on the 'factory floor'....

That was in the past...

The present and the future is a whole new ball game...Managers of today are employed from the outside and the remaining are so frightened of everything they do, issue stages like confetti...

The worst part are the managers of today,is they do think they are doctors, surgeons and consultants....

Glad to be out....

some guy in our office had a heart attack and was off for about 4 months. when he came back. they gave him a stage 1-2-3 and the sack all in one go. lol. he took them to court and got a nice payout.

Over the years ive seen stage warnings given for brain tumor and cancer patients. :no no

how the feck do they get away with that, a good solicitor would crucify them in court.

Yes you might get some cash but you wont keep your job and thats the bottom line nowadays. :sad:

I was asked for a list of the medications i was on and how long I needed to take them etc by my DOM ! Is that not what the ATOS report is for?

Needless to say he never got them.
