WHO ?
Who the f**k is running this sh*t house of a company now ?, Why can't any managers (or anyone come to think of it!!) give me a straight answer to ANYTHING!!
My office has had six different DOMs in five years, Five of them having had several months off sick due to "STRESS", before just being moved on to another office, and so the cycle repeats itself !!
Why doesn't RM realise that these people are not fit for the job and just pass the prob on to another office ?
Lord give me strength, I can't believe this complete shambles of a job.

Re: WHO ?
You must work in the same office as me.
I think the job is ok once you get out the door...its just the indoors like the rest of us hate! It all comes down to the doms (supervisors) to run the office like clockwork, but i have not seen one office thats done that yet. Ask any dom a question and its i'll let you know...yeah but when? I've given up talking to any dom because they never have the answer 99% of the time.
Heres a list of how to be a dom:
Drink coffee.
Don't answer any questions.
Make sure no one claims any overtime.
Make sure everyone takes out the mail, even if that means pressurizing them (bullying).
Ask them if they have a car, saves the hassle of conveying them yourself.
Talk bull at the team brief e.g mail volumes are down again.
Go on the computer to type up next weeks rota, and everthing else.
Finish about an hour before your time and go home.

Re: WHO ?
I know a lot of you call the company and slag RM off but you can consider yourself lucky really that you have a job and a wage coming in, because there is nothing else out there at present. If mangers get stressed it not your problem.exup13 wrote:Who the f**k is running this sh*t house of a company now ?, Why can't any managers (or anyone come to think of it!!) give me a straight answer to ANYTHING!!

Re: WHO ?
I agree, there's not much out there at the moment. However i and many like me have given a quarter of a century to Royal Mail, should they not feel slighty lucky?. In that time i've seen many management regimes, but nothing that compares to the underworked, arrogant, spiteful , penny pinching mob we have now.Eric Cantona wrote:I know a lot of you call the company and slag RM off but you can consider yourself lucky really that you have a job and a wage coming in, because there is nothing else out there at present. Re: WHO ?
The job is not the worst,it's got harder of course, bit it's deffo not the worst.
Also a lot of the s**t going down from office to office could be avoided if those offices stood up for themselves.
Off to get me tin hat on.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: WHO ?
I look around at work these days and wonder if iam standing on a sinking ship and how long till we go under when the job wont be worth doing anymore.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........
