My daughters grandad died today and although I'm not with her mother anymore I had a pretty good relationship with her dad. I've been asked if I'm going to the funeral and have told my DOM the situation. He's ok with me going but I forgot to ask whether I'll get paid for the day off.
I've only been with RM for 2 months so don't qualify for paid holiday yet. Just wondered if anyone here could advise me. Thanks.

compassionate leave
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.

I had to take A/L when my partners father died in 2002 otherwise it would have been unpaid special leave.
