Sorry SJ, my everytime I look at those 'wasp stings' I get completely distracted
If it's not your aftershave (60% of the time it works, every time. ) then it must your previous life as a wasp stomper

I would like to give a big hand to the NIMC, for a complete balls they created today and I would hope that all the affected DOs contra charge them for all the extra hours that it cost no have NO walk sorted mail.
On a plus, it was like the old days with everyone on IPS (well those FTers left), which was quite nice

We got absolutely hammered today. IPS until 8.45 and still not completed. Everyone started leaving after 11.00. When I finish I heard there were 11 uncovered duties and 44 potential cut offs. I'm so looking forward to tomorrow
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
Load of council s**t,reg and tracked through the roof!
Also worked my full 10hrs

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Heavy day today, did two whole walks, finished at 4.15pm. Didn't do too bad really considering that it was, as I said, heavy today. I hated myself for saying yes to a whole 'nother walk when I saw how bad it was, but I was 'on it' today and I blitzed both walks. I usually dawdle but when you're on a long day like that it pays to have speed and stamina.

Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........
Thurs & Fri, two absoutely knackering days. I feel like I've aged 20 years.
Still, I comforted myself with the thought of Mark Higson's working day. How he must have sweated buckets as he reached into his briefcase and pulled out his prawn sandwiches that his dutiful boyfriend prepared for him that morning.
How he must have nearly done his back in, as he picked up his copy of the Torygraph off the bogroom floor after he'd let it slip in trap No.3...........Well, it didn't comfort me that much, if I'm honest.

Imagine him (and the rest of the board) being victims of Jigsaw I'm going to play a game

Pretty average day in all. I'm sick of doing some of these half walks as it only drives the point home that MY WALK IS MUCH HARDER THAN SOME OF THE OTHERS. There are, obviously, worse ones, but a few folk in our office have it seriously easy.

I know it can drive you mad if you let it. The guy that works next to me has a van delivery which is 1hr.30min less than mine and yet gets paid an hours SA overtime each day for dropping off 4 bags on the way out to his delivery.
I try really hard not to think about it and just get on with my own work
