That's very lyrical. I like that. Would you object if I used that as a motto?

It was f***ing shite.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Mine took me two hours forty five minutes. I then went and did a half of somebody's walk who is off - forty five minutes. I know this walk, and by the look of what was on the frame on the other half, the guy who does it normally must finish in about an hour and a half on a Saturday. It really takes the mickey sometimes - some walks truly are more equal than others. And to add insult to injury, there was only one packet on the whole walk that the postie needed to take (ignoring the dvd sized things, that is), three big ones going to the driver. It was about the size of my hand.

Piss take.

Didn't rain though.

A full york of packets, the mis-sort run, bag drops for 5 postmen, 23 SDs and my walk. I finished 20 minutes ago.
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.

3 hrs 10 mins to do my walk today, which is pretty good all things considered. Much better though is that I only had 4 missorts, compared to the 38 (that I counted) on Saturday. I did have six write-offs which surprised me (these all being handed back to me).

Easy. Done by 12:15, warm sunshine and a cool breeze all day. Lovely. I have the luxury of being on an easy walk very close to the office so even a "hard" day on this walk in fairly normal by other walk standards. Autumn tomorrow and the duty holder is back from rehab next week...i guess it's all downhill from here! :Boo hoo!

About 3hrs 20 mins today. Slightly more mail than usual, plus the extra D2D items missed from yesterdays non delivery. Very warm and felt really knackered when I finished. Still got the shorts on. :chuckle

Did my walk. Got back, did another full walk for overtime. (Both are big walks too.) Got home, played football for 2 hours. Physically f****d. Never again.
