Hi my name is chris a royal mail driver at portsmouth, i have worked for royal mail for approx 22 years doing various jobs along the way starting as a cadet then on to postman doing walks and indoor duties then as a driver and fork lift driver, also worked as part of the platform 2000 team for a year with the IT department upgrading all royal mail and post office PCs then when they sold that off i returned back to driving and fork lift duties, and to this day i am still a driver at Portsmouth :cfo :lfo

I fell into this job back in the 1909's coz i couldnt feed my kids.. I started on licking all the envelopes down that hadnt been stuck .. My tongue fell out in 1910 i carried on working in the delivery game from 1910 to 1917 when a horse n cart ran me over but i finished my round and then colapsed with a broken spine...Better than going to war!!! From 1917 till 1930 i was a gimp in the RLE collecting the post dockets in my mouth. (no tongue helped) from 1930 till 1939 it was a easy time as i was foreign stamp collector Untill some git called Adolf started a row in Poland and i had to give it up. (Cutbacks) I was then sent to the front line in Dunkirk for The beach landings and post master general... (Couldnt get away this time)
Bit hairy but i came thru it only bein shot 4 times... In the head. 5 times the body and 1s in the bollox.... I came thru all this and in 1946 i was taken out of the Military hospital and returned to the P.O. As a cleaner.... THE THANKS I GOT... :d'oh! So in 1955 i gave up that job as i found a leg up the ladder.... Line manager in a DO in Margate...(FUNNY BUNCH THERE) No backbone!!! Well i was impressed with a few of my workers and i went on grassing and being a right bastard until 1971 And the big strike came... (I DONT WANNA TALK ABOUT IT) :so there Then i was moving on the (FAST TRACK) As the new post office jargon was.. I learnt all the BULLSHITE words and made a few up of my own.... "CANT RUN WITH THAT" and " I DONT PAY YOU TO STAND AROUND DOING FECK ALL" That was my favorite :Very Happy So in 1972 to 1989 i was a SOM in the south east and made sure i was cooking with gas... :nana THEN THE WHEELS FELL OFF!! :d'oh! 1995 I met some right loud mouthed bastard called L TOMMO... (A RIGHT PRICK) He made my life hell.. Never doin anything i told him and on more than one occasion i gave him a serious 50 year warning..... He took no notice until one day i got the fecker...... :no no :no no :no no He played up once too often... :so there I GOT THE BASTARD IN 2007 And all he said to me was....

"DONT LET THE BASTARDS GRIND YA DOWN." Then "PISS OFF IM WORKING TOO MY 318.." Well i could of shat my britches.... :d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh! THE FECKER GOT OFF!!! :d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh!

Im off now to get BIG AL and lil adam to feck him big style,,,,, WATCH THIS SPACE..... :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:
