i allwayd thought my hours i went over i just got paid them due to fact i was still working and wont work for free. though i need to tart writing my hours down as i get 7-8 hours O/T perweek but i infact know i do alot more. should i be paid for every hour ive worked?

Of course you should get paid every hour you work, do you put your own overtime down and sign for it on the "552 RM document" ??

If you dont DONT TAKE YOUR BREAK you should claim after 3.5 hours each day. You must keep records!

You need to fill the "552" form in or dont do the Over time anymore. The signing in sheets should be kept but managers may make it difficult for you to see them!

The manager was probably planning on doing you for having heavy bags, then he checked the WTL signing sheets and realised that you hadnt had yours ! So he`s to blame, and he`s s**t scared in case you end up fecked. So he gets you to sign one, then you had it - BUT with a date on well before your accident. Whether this was planned or not is open to question. He could have been trying to leave it a while, THEN trying to do you for it (it does happen!!) or maybe he hadnt seen the date and just wanted you to genuinley have the WTL and then sign, who knows.

Either way, you were very quick to notice that date ,and sign and date it yourself. Top marks for that , as many, me included, may well have been caught out by that.

You`ll be fine, no worries, mainly because your PT. A FT who had the WTL and signed, and if they could prove your bags were too heavy, would be down the road !!

Make sure to talk to your rep/ manager, and say you have stuff to do in the afternoons (you dont have to say what!) and that you`ll do your hours, and are even willing to do a little extra overtime on bad days (so your coming across as helpful and not a hinderance) , but that you cannot and will not continue to work the hours you have been. Your health is important to you , and if they want you working longer hours, then they should offer you a FT contract (which they wont!) but your making your point.
This reply is right on the money, maybe this should be logged with HR, also bear in mind try to get to 6 months service before you really kick up.
