Has anyone thought about the weight restriction? Two "Chunky Monkeys" in the same van with a heavy days mail and I believe they might be over the weight on the little sign stuck to your dashboard! Can't remember the figure exactly (sure someone will inform us) but I remember thinking that's not a lot!

You'll have to weigh your van and yourself never mind about the bags.

The 2 who have answered you had the duties put in by EA!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

If I'm one of the two, it wasn't by EA, it was by agreement after advice from the CWU. There were no guidelines then, instructions not to cooperate arrived 6 months AFTER we were told to go ahead using the model created in the NE, I think it was Durham.

Subsequent to all the IA and the "Interim Agreement" whereby changes in 2009 SHOULD have been capable of returning to status quo didn't help because our changes occurred in 2008. In any case if it had been 2009 do you seriously think that the CDVs would have been mothballed..................nah.

It boils down to p poor communication and a lack of understanding of the delivery procedure.
