That will teach me to post then go out. I did take this up last year with E MAIL Alan so i did. It did stop but has started again. So will be back onto RM in the morning. There are numerous complaints from customers when they look on Track and Trace and see their item has been delivered, when in fact its on its way back to the office with the delivery person, have asked the locker staff to provide me with a list of all Specials that have been confirmed as delivered next week but have been brought back to the office. Let the fun begin.

In that way we use the technology at hand, solve the problem of confirmed or not and save the walking postie any grief.

this is exactly what happens in my office and has done for years.if the delivery posty had to do them it would interfere with their 2 hour finish. :Very Happy
who the hell invests £2 billion into a servic and makes it worse?????????????

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Too many specials (300-400)....not enough drivers.
Might work in the smaller offices............ :hmmmm
It won't be that big of an issue when the CDVs are in because they will have a PDA - I mean how many deliveries are within a mile of the office? I think ours will end up with about 18 out of 90+.
