Docket is unscheduled overtime as in busy days and the lineo asks you to an extra row after yours and pays you extra for doing it, but not absorption when everyone, or those delegated take a some.

Scheduled attendance is when you sign a contract to do extra to your own duty at the times specified and on a continuous basis. For instance a collection duty of 2 hours every Friday, that is not in your normal duty, would attract SA if you have signed a contract, and in some if not all cases, if there is a local agreement to do so.
That's the first I've heard about signing a contract before regularly getting paid SA.

You are supposed to sign a contract for SA, and RM have to give you 4 weeks notice if they are going to terminate it.

Last year it was 14th May and 13th august, so will probably be similar this year.
The Lump Sum is a small percentage of SA worked over the year, but how is it calculated ?

If you're doing SA, your Payslip will have a line saying "Weekday Scheduled Attendance", or similar, if you do it at the weekends. If not, you won't get the lump sum SA payment. Because it's to compensate those of us who do SA, for the money we lost during the year, by using our annual leave (and therefore not performing our SA). Because pressure (normal) overtime isn't supposed to be constant throughout the year, it doesn't trigger any payment.

If however, you do exactly the same amount of overtime throughout the year, then it should become SA (in theory anyway). If this is the case, I suggest you ask your Rep to try to get it changed to SA.

Yes, I do the same hours SA each week I'm at work and this is shown as "Weekday Scheduled Attendance", and then I'm paid in May and August a "Scheduled Attendance Lump Sum" which might amount to about 5% or 3% of the year's SA.
So if this 'Lump Sum' is a sort of Holiday Pay compensation as the SA is deemed an integral part of our wages why does it vary percentagewise year to year and shouldn't there be some rational sort of formula for calculating it ?

Yes, there should. Why that isn't the case, I don't know. But that's what I was told it was for, when I first saw the payment on my Payslip. I suppose I could have been misinformed. But I doubt it.
