Greedy capitalist shareholders mate want their take out of RM leaving less staff to work their
ass off even more with no rights and no union to back them up--- :evil/mad
Now the tories are in we have had it, Camercon has already stated he would be delighted to privatise the Royal Fail!
Service forgotten,profit in!!
The government allowed 25 new licenses to DSA recently and they harp on about mail volume decline, NO!
It is revenue decline because of DSA!!
Not the RM spin of falling mail volumes!

Going back to the thread.....

We have had the IWT booklet and the workshop... itl be tough on some people who are used to a "relaxing morning" (no judgment), but there were many factors that we as cwu member's could work with to defend our position.

One aspect i found particularly interesting was that IWT was not set in stone, so if it was to be used by management to prove a persons lack of performance then the deciding factor would be a mail count and a physical check. So no real change there.

Incidently both the rep and the dom agree that Georoute and IWT will work to our benefit in the office.

Yes ok if the imput (traffic figures, A+ etc) is correct in both, then yes maybe.
The big question is why have some had it and others not and why is there this big lack of communications from both sides at
the moment?
Is this business plan they keep going on about the IWT revision?

The IWT works off the G54 and H11 hours that come from DMS so if the DMS is wrong then the old "saying s**t in, s**t out" comes into play.Your rep needs to check that hours are aligned properly. N20 meal relief must add up. N36 WTLL must be included, the same goes for Missorts, Travel in Travel out. its all in there, just get your Rep to ask to check it and get a P130 printed out.

Apparently we're moving ahead with the iwt/owt together with a 39hour week and shift patterns.
Before we get shafted again as we're usually one of the first offices to go live, can anyone confirm if the union has got a national agreement on IWT and outdoor speed's to be used for
indoor prepping and outdoor walking speeds etc?

See important 2010 threads for walk speeds and IWT...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
