great book about postal workers

Post by cornishpostie »

HI, thought someone may be interested in a book called 'Through the Letter box' which is all about the Royal Mail service and has some great stories from Cornish post men and women. If you are interested look for the title on Amazon - its by Natalie Allen and is a great read and would make a fab retirement gift for any retiring postman/woman.

I'm tempted to buy it as long as its not written by some merchant banker who fed up with ripping our pensions off relocates to the beautiful Cornish coast to work p/t as a postie while writing about the yokels and their quaint country ways from their second home.If it is I would rather wait for Roy Mayall's next publication.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
