but if i am part time and a leave reserve doing a 40 hour week duty i must be entitled to the full supplement this issue is not about me working a day off or helping the dom cover a part of a delivery on overtime its about me covering a full time member of staff for the week as it is my job to do this
Do you work the same hours as the full-timer you cover and do you cover their indoor work?
yes some weeks afew staff do we claim adjustment to duty for each day and do that job what the full timer would do indoor and outdoor

Then in this case dingo is right, your rep should be arguing in the resource meetings for more full-time reserve cover not accepting part-timers covering full-time duties....then the issue of delivery supplement is no longer an issue.
P/t staff do end up with the 20.60 if you work over your contract (30hrs) your hourly pay goes to £9.40(approx) which when you do 40hrs =£375 same as full time with supplement. It is not shown on pay slip as supplement just hrs worked. P/t do not paid any more or less than full timers check your pay slips, we had this out in our office already. when you go over 40 it's the ot rate which is about £9.40 as well.

you and i know that they wont make anyone full time so this needs sorting out you must be able to make up the payment somehow for doing the same job some weeks
I have checked my payslip and Beanmuncha is correct, and therefore I make un unreserved apology for comments in respect of discrimination regarding the delivery supplement. However there remains discrimination in respect of sickness and holiday pay. Also it seems strange that Dingo is arguing a point for the company not paying part timers the full delivery supplement, when it has now been pointed out to us that they do
What do you have to say for yourself Dingo.
Payslip says Weekday Overtime @ SSPR 6.00 in the hours column and 359.27 in the amount column
My theory is take basic pay take the supplement add on the £20.00 defined area supplement my D.O gets (PRO RATA OF COURSE) divide by 40 and you can call BING0!!!!!
The 6 hours OT is for performing my own duty on my day off. Had 6 weeks on the trot of that follwed by 2 weeks rest followed by this week AL, next week I have no idea will find out when I look at the duty sheets Monday morning.

Well i know SSPR contains certain allowances Daz...probably your defined area but i didn't think it included the delivery supplement...if it does then this whole pro-rata/contracted hours against worked hours argument is a bit pointless.
Im 21 hour contract and get £186.14 gross (£8.863p per hour)
Overtime 1 hour £9.38p difference of 0.517p per hour x 40 hours gives you £20.68p which I assume is the delivery supplement. Haven,t got a clue why the hourly rate goes to more than two decimal points)
