3 weeks on 1 week off, had this in our preference list and would love it to come in.

A lot of staff in my office have said '52 hour weeks, how the hell can I do that' - all my mates say they wish they only worked 52 hours a week in their jobs and that we must be mental to turn down 16-18 weeks a year off.

Works out practically 1 week of 1 month, 2 weeks of next month with annual leave
You/We must be mad to want that. How could we manage 52 hour 6 day week  not.

The thing is half my office work their day off anyway, so they're already working 48hr weeks. They could always come in for a few days on their week off if they still wanted some docket - personally i'll be off all over the place enjoying some proper breaks instead of a rolling day off that's only actually any good when it gets to a weekend.

Yeah it's a long week, but you're never more than 3 weeks away from a week's holiday - I haven't got a week off now for 6 months :cry

You could argue back and forwards all night and get nowhere...that's the point ,suits some ,doesn't suit others.
As long as you have enough for both systems.....have both systems.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

I've noticed :Very Happy

You can't explain things to some people though, one guy even said that 9 day fortnights are rubbish because you have to work 18 days over 4 weeks. I asked him how many we work now in 4 weeks and he just gave me a blank look :chuckle

Then there's loads of FT staff clamouring for the 1 weekend off in 2, when that means PT staff work every weekend and is completely unfair for them.

Not sure if the intended sarcasm was missed.

I knew what you meant :Very Happy It looks a complete no brainer to me. I just hope that enough have voted for it and that it's workable for those that have.

It doesn't matter for us now, as the brain donors in our office have voted for a 5 day rotating day off with one Sat off in 6.

4 day weeks, 9 day fortnights, 1 week off in 4, all turned down. :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

Why only one attendance pattern flyer?
Is it a small office or just a lazy manager...or did almost everyone want the rotating day off?

i was looking to go for 3 weeks on 1 off option, but the only thing that stopped me was the probability of managers hounding me with phone calls begging me to come in as the revision isn't working & eveeryone is working to their time
but it now looks like its gonna be every 2nd w/end off, which as already posted, ain't altogether fair on p/t
