I honestly dont think i would strike for the CWU ever again after the last shafting they gave us, but.........if it involves other unions in a mass strike against the Govt then id think about it more.

You wont be asked to strike.....why would you?
The CWU already has agreements in place for both RM and BT that cover the next three years...the job cuts are already agreed so what would you strike against....privatisation. ....now that would win the public over.
The only way we would be asked out again would be if this agreement goes tits up and RM tell the union to f**k off.....which now i think about it is entirely possible but even then the response would be patchy and Billy&Dave know that.
If the CWU calls us to the gate it is basically the last throw of the dice and we are all in the smelly brown stuff.

A purely political strike which does not have at its heart a trade dispute will not attract protection for the unions or the striking employees. Which means if Billy and Dave don't come up with a strong reason for us to strike, and I don't think pensions is the right "cause", and have a strong campaign first then I think that the CWU will be on a sticky wicket.

Also with the 2010 agreement, at least my reading of it, its going to be damnably difficult to get a National Strike rolling, without undermining both the agreement and the new ethos we apparently have.

The union would negotiate a 7.5% pay cut ;a barely noticable thaw in the pension freeze and 5hr45min walks across the board and call it the "deal of the century".
And they would balk at the idea of calling the members out.

I don't believe what i'm reading here from it seems gutless capitalists who have as I believe no concept of faith, which is just what government has wanted all along, mindless individuals who are not aloud to have appinions and stand up for the common good of (man) (its just a saying ladies).
Everytime I hear or read something on the news, which is suppose to undermine my mental state I might add, like TERROR (stay in your homes), Dangerous BACTERIA (wash everything), Consumer Prices RISE (dont eat, sh*t or bye anything), Perv in your area (keep a close eye on your kids, but not there friends), Animals Kill (dont feed the animals) and now the mental state of adults killing there children.
What the feck is going on people oh and the best brilliant ploy by government was the Car Scrappage Scheme now the fuel duty is going to £6 a Gallon over the bank holiday and rising in January once the VAT goes up to 20%.

I am with the nations unions leaders on an all out national strike to show to government that the people of the UK are claiming there country back. I don't know about always slagging off the french, but the sooner we as a country fvck off America the better, as they have been nothing but a pain in the ass since WW11
